Xplor Fuego was fun

Bought Xplor Fuego tickets. Website was simple to use. Got the tickets fast. Park was a blast, especially the zip lines at night. Recommended for a unique experience.

Good park experience, smooth booking

I booked the Xcaret Park Plus tickets for my family directly on their website. The booking process was straightforward, I just selected the date and number of adults/children. I also opted for the round-trip transportation, which made things much easier. The tickets were emailed within minutes, no issues there. At the park, entry was quick with the QR code. We enjoyed the underground rivers and the Mexico Espectacular show was definitely a highlight. Food and drinks included with the Plus package were decent, though lines could be long at peak times. Overall, the quality of the park and services was high, as advertised. The website was clear about what was included and what wasn't, which helped manage expectations.

Decent value with early booking

I was looking for the best deal for Xel-Há All Inclusive and managed to get a 15% early booking discount by planning ahead. That made a big difference for us, especially with a couple of kids. The total cost felt reasonable for an all-day experience with food and drinks. I checked a few other sites but buying directly from Xcaret's site with the discount seemed like the best option. It felt like good value for money, saving us some pesos that we could spend on souvenirs. Worth checking for those advance purchase deals if you can book in time.

Xavage was incredible!

Just got back from Xavage Park and it was absolutely amazing! The jet boat ride and the monster trucks were so much fun. Booking online was super easy, and my confirmation came right away. I'm already planning my next trip to try Xplor Fuego, this place is just fantastic! What a great day!

Thinking of doing Xplor Fuego next month. What's the deal with transport? Is it usually included or do I need to book separately?

E ElenaV 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Hey Marco! With Xplor Fuego, transport is usually an add-on. You buy your ticket, and then you have the option to add round-trip transportation from your hotel. It's super convenient because they pick you up and drop you off, but it's not automatically part of the basic entry price.

M MarcoA 2 weeks ago
Ah, okay, that makes sense. Is it worth adding the transport or should I just get a taxi?

E ElenaV 2 weeks ago
For Fuego, I'd say the included transport is worth it. It's late and you'll be tired, not having to worry about a taxi is a big plus.

I did Xplor Fuego last year and added the transport. It was pretty smooth, they have designated pick-up points. Just make sure to be on time for the bus! They don't wait.

Good to know, thanks for the heads-up!

Depends on where you're staying. If your hotel is close, a taxi might be cheaper for a group. But if you're in Cancun and the park is near Playa del Carmen, the Xcaret transport is probably better. Just check the price difference when you book.

Yeah, trying to hail a taxi late at night from a park can be a hassle and sometimes more expensive than you expect.

We're in Cancun, so it's a bit of a drive. Guess the included transport is the way to go then.

Just bought Xcaret Plus for my trip next month, but now seeing some info about 'preventa' discounts. Did I miss out on a better deal by buying too late?

D DiegoP 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Don't stress too much! Xcaret Plus is still a great value. The preventa is good, but sometimes there are other promotions that pop up closer to the date, like for specific credit cards (Citibanamex or BBVA often have deals). Or if you were getting a package of multiple parks, those usually have their own discounts too.

L LauraG 1 month ago
Yeah, sometimes they do 'meses sin intereses' which is nice even if not a direct discount.

M Mariana87 1 month ago
That's good to hear, thanks! I only got the one park this time. I'll check my bank for any current offers.
6
J JuanC 1 month ago
Also, if you're a Quintanarroense resident, those discounts are usually valid year-round, not just preventa.
7
C CarlosM 1 month ago
Yeah, usually the best discounts are for buying way in advance. Xcaret often has a 'preventa' period where you can get a pretty good chunk off, especially if it's months before your visit. You can also sometimes get extra savings with specific bank cards.
11
S SofiaR 1 month ago
Probably not for preventa, those are usually locked in. Maybe check if there are any current bank promos you can still use?

M Mariana87 1 month ago
Ugh, figured. I only bought about 3 weeks out. Is there any way to retroactively apply a discount?

A AnaS 1 month ago
I always buy like 4-6 months out for the best prices. It's a gamble but usually pays off. You might still be able to get a discount on the Photo Pass or something once you're there though!

Good point about the Photo Pass, I was thinking about adding that.

Thinking of doing a couple of parks, is there any way to get a better deal if I buy like, 2 or 3 at once?

A Andre J. 2 months ago
Yeah, totally. They do multi-park packages, sometimes like 25% off if you get a few.
6
S Steve 2 months ago
Can confirm, I got a 3-park one last year and it was way cheaper than buying them separately. Just look for the 'Paquete Dos Parques' or 'Paquete Tres Parques' options.

i'm from cancun, like actually live here. do they have special prices for locals?

E Emma 2 months ago
Yes! Look for 'promoción residentes de Quintana Roo'. You'll need an official ID to prove it when you get there.

D Derek 2 months ago
My cousin lives there and always uses the resident discount. It's a pretty good deal, just make sure you have your Mexican ID handy.

I'm looking at Xcaret Plus. Is it worth the extra money or should I just do the basic entry and buy stuff there?

T Troy 2 months ago
Totally worth it for Xcaret Plus. Includes a buffet lunch, snorkeling gear, and lockers. Saves a lot of hassle and money once you're in the park.
3
C Cody 2 months ago
Depends on your budget, but if you plan on eating and using the lockers, Plus is usually the better deal. I did it and didn't regret it.

Does anyone know if kids get in free or if there's a reduced price for them? My little one is 3 and the other is 7.

E Emma S. 1 month ago
Your 3-year-old gets in free! For your 7-year-old, it's usually 50% off the adult price.
6
M Marcus B. 1 month ago
Yep, under 4 is free. Kids 5-11 get half off. My nephew went for half price last year.

Can I bring my own snacks and drinks into the parks, or do they make you buy everything inside?

P Paula 2 months ago
Nah, they're pretty strict about bringing outside food and drinks. You generally have to buy it there.
5
J Jared 2 months ago
From my experience, no outside food allowed. They want you buying from their restaurants and kiosks.

Hey, I'm planning my trip for late July, like the 20th. If I book my tickets now, can I get a discount for buying early?

S Sarah 1 month ago
Definitely! They usually have a 'descuento por compra anticipada' for booking like a week or two out. You should get a bit off.
1
T Troy Q. 1 month ago
Yeah, if you book 7-21 days in advance, it's usually 10-15% off. Worth doing if your dates are firm.
